WAH CANT: Delia Arnold of Malaysia Monday won 3rd POF-WISPA International Women Squash Championship defeating Im Yoke Wah, who was also a Malaysian, in final of Championship here at Jahangir Khan Squash Complex.
Im Yoke Wah and Delia Arnold, both from Malaysia, reached the final of 3rd POF-WISPA International Women Squash Championship on Sunday.
In the semi-finals, Im Yoke Wah narrowly beat Pakistan’s top seed Maria Toor 8-10, 3-9, 9-5, 9-3, 9-2 while Delia Arnold defeated compatriot Sitti Munira in straight games 10-8, 9-4, 9-6.
Maria Toor won the first two games against Lim but then lost her way to the disappointment of the local fans. |
